So, you want to read what I think about some wads I've played? no? well but here they are, they'll be rated from 1 to 10, I'll check it's new textures, sounds, music, sprites/objects, map detail, and, most important: gameplay.

Icons:

= from 7 to 10. 7 & 8 means that is a Cool wad and i like it a lot, some things to improve but it's great. 9 & 10 means a perfect wad, i like it like hell and it enters in my favorites.
= from 4 to 6. 4 & 5 means that is a OK wad, it's not impressive and lacks of things like good texture choices, correct texture aligment, good details in ligh, architecture and gameplay is not bad nor the best. 6 means that is still not impressive but it has a better texture choice, low-medium detail, architecture, etc.
= from 0 to 3. 0-1 means that is a horrible wad, probably a super-begginer wad or sad jokewad, almost everything is wrong, bad texture choice, no architecture, no detail, static light, bad gameplay, etc. 2 & 3 means that it's still a bad wad, but the overall mapping doesn't look like a 1994 map, but still, a lot of things to make better, a lot.

New World 2

New World 2 is the sequel to it's prequel: New World, it has some kind of the same feel, the author focused on indoor areas a little bit more than outdoor areas, the gameplay follows the prequel, some puzzles here and there, most of them involve key-door finding. Note that you have to play it with ZDoom because you need to jump in some areas, there are some DeHackED edits in the wad too. The theme used in this wad is something like prison-labs and rocky-fields with trees outdoors, and I really liked it, I love maps that recreates outdoor areas like fields or forest. There are some new sounds too for doors, secret areas, lift, etc. The music is also cool, the MIDIs in the wad fits very well with the map's aspect. The detail on this wad goes from basic to nice detail, but it's not that detailed, it doesn't need to be really. New textures rocks in this wad! I like the sprites, flats, patches, etc. they all fit in this cool sequel. -OVERALL: 8/10-

Epic is one of my favourite Doom wads ever, I played this years ago just when it came out in 2007 I think. The gameplay is one of it's coolest aspects, it's not hard at all, but it maybe be a little bit frustrating because it has hard moments at small areas while key-finding, but it's very dynamic. It was made for Boom, but the author recommed to play it with GZDoom to avoid some bugs (I played it with Boom, runs ok). The textures chosed are stellar, they fit 100% to the map design, some cool tricks here and there, sprite edits are cool and funny. It has 2 new sounds and every map has it's own music! they're pretty catchy actually. The map design is ok, it doesn't have high detailed structures, instead, they are rather simple in my opinion but they add something special to it, whatever it is, looks pretty. -OVERALL: 8/10-

When this baby came out I wasn't sure if it will be a good unofficial sequel, I played 2 years after it came out and I was wrong, this is an awesome wad. The gameplay follows it's prequel, the classic Plutonia earth and hell levels are there, with better detail, and even more challenging! the textures, the flats, skyes are perfect for this wad they give the wad an unique feeling and it doesn't leave the classic Plutonia design away. The maps are all quite challenging and latest maps are pretty big! I needed a lot of time to complete the final levels. Most of the maps have new background music, my favourite is Night Run that is in MAP17 i think, well, they're all pretty cool actually. The architecture on the big maps is stellar, but in overall it goes from medium to medium-high and others... not so much. -OVERALL: 7/10-

Eric Harris

For those who don't know who Eric Harris was i'll tell you. Eric Harris was a 18 old guy who killed 14 people in the Columbine Hig School Massacre in April 20 of 1999, after killing these people, he and his partner commited suicide. Now, in the wad, is something that never impressed me, the gameplay goes from medium to medium-hard sometimes, the level design is kind of poor and it doesn't looks too good in my opinion. There are some new death animations, they are very odd and goristic, maybe a tip from what was in his mind at that time. The maps were all that kind, this wad is well known by who the author was, not by the mapping or the gameplay itself, never liked it.

The Sky May be

The strangest wad ever created? probably, maybe someone out there is creating something worse... or better! The Sky May Be is an strange wad released in 1997 with 2 years of development, and... it's pretty damn cool! I really love it, it's humors, it's maps, textures, etc. There are lot of edited doom textures and other with text in the graphic, probably written in Paint, anyways, you can find a lot of weird things. In the principal map you start in a big area, and there's a pillar next to you with a long message. Akward big structure, painful 1-color-textures, weird sounds, they all make this wad something lewd, strange, incredible, well, what it is. There are new sounds, some voices, others are part of the gfx. The music is a classical piece and fits quite right on the level. Note that you do not have to take this wad seriously, that's the magic!. There is also a DeHackED that modifies enemies, environment and weapons, pretty cool! WATCH OUT FOR IMP "FIREBALLS"! Finally, believe it or not: -OVERALL: 10/10-

A shitty night

Ok so basically according to the silly story behind this wad you get drunk then you start to drive your car but you crash against something, you woke up trying to find your phone while hearing strange things, try to scape through a tunnel but then a earthquake pwn you and you start killing once again.
The overall detailing and structure of this map is ok, it's not high detailed nor a 1994 map but i think some details are unnecesary, the map suffers from being too dark in some parts, it also has a claustrophobic feel because a lot of areas are too small. There is a new sky that feels nice with the dark ambient of the outdoors and the rocky-grass choice of textures looks cool, there are no new sounds but it has a cool rock music that doesn't go with the ambient but it's energetic, i like it. The gameplay is good at all, but it could have been way better if most of the rooms and some corridors were bigger, I really feel too stretch in those areas which makes me kind of nervious. The difficulty is a point down and up at the same time, way too difficult by the stretch areas and because of the darkness, but it was fun, specially at the end. -OVERALL: 6/10-

Operacion Masacre 3

El Canalla

Operacion Masacre 3 is a map by El Canalla that participated in Arcades3D's Doom map tournament 2014 (and won the first place!). The start will be a little bit difficult if you're one of these players that can't find switches easily, i'm not one of them, but this time it took me like 6 minutes to find the switch to open a door! it was in one of the cells iirc, oh, and there is another switch behind a tall crate, that took me a lot of time too. This is a medium-long map, it has a lot of detail in the structure and lightning that fits a lot with the overall theme of the level and the textures, that varies between tech-rock-wood-hell, and the visuals are another point up.There are no new sounds, but a new MIDI of the song "Children of The Damned" by Iron Maiden, I don't like maps that have MIDI of real songs, they don't fit the levels, and this is not an exception, maybe a darker standard MIDI track would fit better this. The action/gameplay this time is hard and fun, maybe too weak at the start, you know, giving a lot of ammo and weapons make it easy at first, but that is just the beggining, and I have to say that the final battles of the map are not that hard as previous battles that had me cornered.
